The Crane Project is something we have been talking about and wanting to do for a long time. There is a popular story even in America about a little girl named Sadako who was diagnosed with leukemia. She spent the rest of her days folding paper cranes under the belief that when she folded 10,000 she would be granted a wish. So for every dollar donated to the Crane Project, a crane will be made in that donor’s honor, named (or if desired left anonymous) and numbered. When we have reached 10,000 cranes the Crane Project will “grant a wish” and donate the $10,000 as well as the folded paper cranes to someone diagnosed with a life threatening disease or illness.
To donate, check our store to have as many cranes folded in your name as you would like. In the checkout there is a section for you to leave notes, please leave the name that you would wish to be put on the cranes folded in your honor.
