First and foremost I would like to introduce us. My name is Ben I am partnering with Alex on Zompocalypse Now, it is a project we have worked together envisioned over the past few months. We are both big fans of zombies and one night we came upon an argument of the best way to survive a zombie apocalypse. After a few hours and a few words that were said that can never be taken back we arrived at the idea of Zompocalypse Now!

Welcome to Zompocalypse Now, we are just starting up so please stick with us. In the next couple of weeks we will be making changes to the website. This is an experiment on two fronts, on the one hand neither me or Alex have made a webcomic before nor have we made and maintained a full service website like this, so needless to say we are learning and exploring new ways to do things and hopefully get our vision across to our veiwers.  What we do know is writing techniques, story architecture, plot construction and what not, classical art techniques and some new age stlying. My backround being in writing Alex’s backround being in art. Our plans for the comic as for right now will be a little less than traditional. We are very interested into bringing new ways of looking at things onto the page. We would like to include a certain level of participation from out audience in the future. For right now we are not sure how well the technilogical aspects of what we would like to do will meet up with what we actually can do, this will be something that we will need to do more investigating into as the times come.

We have had a recent set back, our tablet-pc we were using to create the comics just become temporarily out of commission. So we should have those comics up in the upcoming days, until then we will provide a rough sketch of our first comic, whether or not we will continue to provide the rough sketches will be something that we will have to decide after we get our laptop up and running and get a bit more on our feet. We have already learned our first lesson, “back up everything on at least two other mediums”, Beleive me we feel soo dumb.
